To contribute with the regional and national development through the training of competent professionals and the dissemination of technical and scientific knowledge in economics, management and sociology, which can assist in the solving of problems in these and in related fields.

Vision

As part of a nationally and internationally recognized university, excellence in human capital formation and in the generation of scientific knowledge that contribute to the sustainable development of the Country is sought. The need for dynamism to continually adapt methods and knowledge to the needs of the constantly changing labor market is recognized.
